Friday Year 25 Week 13 10/30/09

22 running tonight

A Friend of Mine - 2-year-old dirt mile colt - Second start, MSW, nine horse field. He was actually bred to be a router but seems like he might like the shorter distance. His sire, Frisco Kid, didn't really start winning routes until he was 3. 6 41

Argent - 2-year-old dirt mile colt - Second start, running in a 100K restricted race in NY. Five horse field. 4 48

Cabella - 4-year-old turf mile filly - She's done pretty well for me since I bought her last year for 5K and dropped her from routes to a mile making me 80K. Won a sponsored stakes last out. She's running in a 150K listed stakes tonight, five horse field. I don't think she'll win this but she just might come in second or third. 3 55

Euridice - 2-year-old turf mile filly - Pretty slow gift horse as a yearling. She's in a NW2, five horse field. 4 41

Four Letter Word - 2-year-old turf sprint gelding - Not a very quick little horse. Running in a MSW, six horse field, won't be surprised if he finishes out of the money since he was bred for dirt. 6 14

Give Candy - 2-year-old turf mile gelding - Not very quick, running in a NW2, six horse field, really should be a sprinter so won't be surprised if he doesn't make anything either. 2 55

Globes - 4-year-old turf route filly - Second start for me, running in a sponsored NW3 100K claimer, five horse field. 3 48

Glorious Eyes - 2-year-old turf mile filly - Third start, running in a 150K Grade 2 stakes at London Gallops, five horse field, only two winners in the field. 5 44

Gremlin - 3-year-old dirt sprint gelding - He's been known to actually walk around the track, hard to even inspire to jog. Running in a MSW, four horse field. 4 34

Heap of Virtue - 3-year-old dirt route filly - Running in a 50K sponsored stakes, four horse field, there's a small chance she comes in third. 3 52

Heavenlyrock - 2-year-old turf mile filly - Really bred to be a dirt mile+, this is her first race for me, she's running in a sponsored NW2, five horse field. 5 20

How Soon Is Now - 2-year-old turf mile gelding - Running in an allowance, five horse field, all maidens. 5 34

Hugs And Kisses - 4-year-old turf sprint filly - Running in a 125K restricted stakes in California, five horse field. She'll probably be fifth. 4 49

Joyful Bliss - 2-year-old turf route filly - Running in an allowance in Japan, five horse field, all maidens. 5 30

Kisses and Clovers - 5-year-old dirt sprint mare - First start for me, she's been running on all weather, trying her on dirt. Running in an allowance, seven horse field. 6 44

Love Bites - 2-year-old dirt sprint filly - Won last out in a MSW, mediocre speed figure, tonight she's running in a 100K listed stakes, five horse field. 5 48

Midevil - 3-year-old turf sprint filly - Second start for me, running in an allowance race in Italy, four horse field. 2 58

Nuclear - 3-year-old dirt route colt - Generally a disappointment considering his breeding, but tonight he's running in a 500K Grade 1 Handicap, four horse field, he'll be fourth but the money will still be good, the vet says he's not at his peak yet and I should wait a few days but he also said he is physically sound. Just hope he doesn't get injured. 4 52

Silent Melody - 3-year-old dirt mile gelding - Mediocre runner that earns his keep each race. Running in a 100K Grade 3 stakes in Saudi Arabia, five horse field. 4 48

This I Gotta See - 2-year-old turf mile filly - Third start, running in a 100K sponsored stakes, five horse field. 5 39

Violation - 4-year-old dirt route gelding - DTD - Another that has disappointed me but I think I've expected too much from him. Running in a 250K Grade 1 stakes, five horse field, no way he isn't coming in last, but the paycheck should be okay. 5 46

Wild Ginger - 2-year-old turf route filly - Running in a NW2, five horse field, bred for dirt so she'll be last in this one. 5 26

Earnings for the night - $101,615
