Friday Year 26 Week 8 01/29/10

A small group of 15 running tonight, quite a few 2-year-olds in here.

Angelonmyshoulder - 2-year-old turf mile filly - This is her third start but her first start at her preferred distance. Running in a 12K MSW with a full field. 6 43

Broken Style - 2-year-old dirt mile filly - First start in a 20K MSW and a full field, will probably want to go longer. 10 28

Captured By Style - 3-year-old dirt filly - First start for me, cutting her back to a sprint from a mile in a 24K MSW and a full field. 9 22

Carnoustie - 2-year-old turf mile filly - First start for me. running in a 15K NW3 and a field of ten, only one winner in this field and except for this horse they are all first time starters. 3 56

Frasor - 3-year-old turf mile colt - First start for me. Will probably want to go longer, running in a 20K MSW, seven horse field. 5 44

Garbo - 2-year-old dirt route filly - First start, running at a mile for her debut in a 20K MSW with a full field. 5 51

Genius Point - 5-year-old turf gelding - Filler running in a 20K MSW, five horse field. 4 28

Ize Happy - 4-year-old turf mile gelding - Mediocre runner in a 20K NW3 with a full field. 9 34

Loki Past - 6-year-old dirt route horse - Running in a 125K Grade 3 race and an eight horse field. A lot of nice ones in here, don't know if he has a chance for it or not.

Meet Your Waterloo - 2-year-old dirt mile colt - Second start, came in second in his first start at a sprint (59). Tonight he's in a 20K MSW with a full field. 2 60

One Way Gal - 2-year-old turf mile filly - First start, running in a 12K MSW with a full field. 4 50

Paper in Fire - 2-year-old dirt mile colt - First start, will probably want to go longer. Running in a 15K allowance, six horse field. 6 39

Unvarnished - 2-year-old dirt mile filly - First start, another that will probably want to go longer. Tonight she's in a 12K NW2, six horse field. Only one winner here.

Unwritten Story - 2-year-old dirt mile filly - Second start, came in third first time out in a sprint. She's another that may turn out to be a router. Tonight she's in a 20K NW2, four horse field, one winner and two first time starters. 3 57

You Need Your Head - 3-year-old turf route colt - After winning a small stakes last time out, trying him at a little longer in a 300K Grade 1 and a field of five. He should have a good chance to come in second. 3 56


Earnings for the night - $50,270 (includes breeder awards, including one for a homebred I sold at auction last year, "Sand in my Shoes" who won a MSW with a speed figure of 71!)
