Monday Year 27 Week 3

30 running tonight as I continue to try to figure out which horses I want to keep and who is really beyond hope for me or just don't fit into my stable. One of the problems is I continue to buy horses even while culling. Argh! Not too many fillers, there just hasn't been too many races that need filling lately except for remote destinations and 2-year-old mixers. So there's more claimers.

Ain't Lost - 3-year-old AW sprint filly - First start for me, picked her up for 1K, hasn't really done well so far in her career on dirt. Thought I'd give her a try on AW. Her grand dam looks nice. Coming off of a maiden win last out, running in a 12K NW2, seven horse field. I can always switch her back to dirt if she hates the AW. Best SF is 63 (dirt). 6 37

Blue Water - 5-year-old dirt route mare - First start for me, second start overall. First out she ran in a sprint on turf. $10 AJ purchase. I sponsored a race for her and stablemate Princess Lilli, two others showed up. 15K maiden claimer, four horse field and a purse of 10K. Best SF in the turf sprint was 1. 3 40

Divided Life - 3-year-old AW gelding - Bought him in the year 25 AJ $10 sale, hasn't done very well. This is only his fourth start, if he doesn't do well I'll probably try him on dirt and on turf at least once, since his sire did well over all three surfaces. If he doesn't do well on any of them he'll probably be gone.25K maiden claimer, full field and a purse of 12K. Best SF is 35 (AW). 9 27

Epic Farewell - 5-year-old dirt route gelding - Steward-bred, though he's never won a stakes he's been graded stakes placed a few times. Tonight he's running in a 10K allowance, ten horse field. There's a lot of good horses in here, despite the fact that it's only an allowance. Best SF is 71. 4 61

Golden Warrior - 4-year-old dirt route filly - Seems to be improving as she matures. Bought her as a yearling for 50K and has made her money back and than some. Broke her maiden at the end of last year, came in second her first race of this year. Tonight it's a 12K NW2, ten horse field over a sloppy track which she should like. Hoping she continues to mature into a good race horse. Best SF is 66. 3 56

Gordian Knot - 2-year-old dirt sprint colt - First start. Homebred with mediocre works, running in a 15K maiden claimer, nine horse field, all first time starters and a 12K purse. 3 52

Incite - 5-year-old chase horse - $10 AJ purchase, second start for me, second start chasing. Running in a 12K NW2, five horse field. Best SF is 64 (chasing). 4 72

Into Money - 4-year-old AW filly - First start for me, $10 AJ purchase. Hasn't done well up to this point for her other owner(s). She has some really nice back class on her female side so I'll probably keep her to try as a broodmare if nothing else. Running in a 12K MSW with a full field. Best SF is 43. 2 49

Joyride - 4-year-old chase filly - Homebred, this is her first start over the jumps, running in a 12K MSW, seven horse field. Best SF is 58 (turf). 5 59

Larry - 2-year-old dirt sprint colt - Homebred, first start, running in a 12K MSW, eight horse field. His works were okay. 3 56

Nebettawy - 3-year-old dirt mile filly - Homebred, seems to be improving with each race. She won a small stakes at the end of last year and won first out this year in a NW3. Tonight she's in a 100K Grade 3 stakes, four horse field. She should at least be competitve in here. Best SF is 66. 4 58

Np Stop - 2-year-old turf sprint gelding - Purchased for 1K at auction, this is his first start, running in a 15K MSW, six horse field. 2 58

One Paradise - 2-year-old dirt sprint filly - Unimpressive gallop, bought for 2K at auction as a yearling. Has one decent dirt work out. Running in a 25K claimer, six horse field and a 12K purse. 5 41

Philadelphia Flyer - 7-year-old chase gelding - Did fairly well on the flats, looks to be improving over the jumps, need to figure out what distance he likes. Running tonight in a 10K MSW, eight horse field. Best SF 61 (chasing), 68 (dirt). 6 58

Point Royale - 5-year-old chase gelding - Wasn't real good on the flat and hasn't proven to be much better over the jumps. Running in a 50K listed stakes, five horse field. Best SF is 61 (chasing and dirt). 5 46

Preempt - 3-year-old dirt sprint gelding - Homebred, running in a 10K MSW, five horse field. Best SF is 56. 4 43

Princess Lilli - 4-year-old dirt route filly - $10 AJ buy, has one start at a sprint. Running tonight in the same race I sponsored with stablemate Blue Water. Best SF is 28 (sprint). 1 52

Pumpkin Patch - 4-year-old AW route filly - I sponsored a 15K maiden claimer for her, four horse field. Best SF is 56 (AW). 1 58

Rockabilly Blues - 4-year-old AW filly - Bought for 1.5K at auction, thought she might make a decent jumper - but no. She's in a 12K MSW, four horse field. Best SF is 54 (AW). 1 53

Roxann - 4-year-old dirt route filly - $10 AJ purchase, first start running in a 15K maiden claimer, eleven horse field and a 12K purse. 11 21

Sad Eyes - 4-year-old chase filly - Homebred, this is her first start chasing running in a 12K MSW with a full field. Best SF is 54 (dirt). 6 64

Seattle Success - 3-year-old AW mile filly - Homebred from a CAM, this is only her fourth start, has a second and a third placing on dirt. This is her first start on AW where she had a pretty good 4F workout. She's running in a 12K MSW with a full field. Best SF is 60 (dirt). 5 45

Sensationalist - 3-year-old turf mile filly - First start, recent purchase from one of Mallory's auctions. Had okay works. Running in a 25K maiden claimer with a full field and a 15K purse. 2 54

Shash - 5-yer-old dirt route mare - $10 AJ buy, has one start on turf at a sprint. She's in a 65K claimer, nine horse field. 9 22

Spaceguard - 4-year-old AW mile filly - Generally runs as a filler, running in a 12K MSW, five horse field. Best SF is 47 (AW). 2 49

Summa Theologica - 4-year-old AW route filly - Seems to have improved since switching from turf. She's trying sponsored 25K NW3 tonight, ten horse field. Only two horses have the two wins. Best SF is 51 (AW). 8 24
